I just returned from a long weekend in Anaheim at the NAMM show. I met up with my pals at Telefunken Elektroakustik and Gorilla Ears, I and made a few new connections.
All good stuff. Here’s to 2015.

I’m a little late with this post but I’ve been traveling.
On New Year’s Eve the Las Vegas Jazz Trio featuring Kai Brant played the Mirage on the Las Vegas Strip. We were in the High Limit Lounge, where customers tip you in poker chips.
The ride there was an adventure, as we had a rare high-desert snowstorm.
We’ve been revisiting some favorite moments from the last year of Focus on Your Health. This is the best of, part 2, with the following highlights:
You can stream four songs from Jaelyn Denise‘s Dweebalicious here. You can buy the CD or a lossless download here.
Jaelyn Denise: vocals and acoustic guitar
John Wedemeyer: lead and rhythm guitars
Darrell Craig Harris: bass
Michael Cremean: guitar on “Code Red Lipstick,” percussion on “Sweep Me off the Stage”
Chris Webb: percussion on “Sweep Me off the Stage”
Martin Kaye and Briana Brown: backing vocals
T. G. LaFredo: drums and percussion
On Sunday, December 14, we held a CD-release party to celebrate Jaelyn Denise‘s Dweebalicious. We performed the record in its entirety at the E-String in Henderson, Nevada. Jaelyn is a seriously talented singer-songwriter. She’s an amazing vocalist, and I always enjoy playing her songs. Michael Cremean produced Dweebalicious for Sevensmokes Music. We recorded with engineer Josh Connolly at Audio Mix House—formerly Odds On Recording—also in Henderson.
