Vegas Rocks

I have a short piece in this month’s issue of Vegas Rocks. The article covers Locked-In Sessions, a rhythm-section master class with bassist Martin Motnik and drummer Peter Dallas.

Swingin’ at the Century Manor

On Saturday, March 30, I was in my parents’ hometown of Olean, New York. We went to dinner at the Century Manor, and I ended up sitting in with the pianist, Carroll Swanson. Here I am, trying to keep up with a musician more than a few years my senior. I think the crowd enjoyed it.

Unplugged with Jaelyn Denise

On Saturday night I played an acoustic show at the Coffee House in Henderson, Nevada, with singer-songwriter Jaelyn Denise and bassist Michael Cremean. It was great fun. We’ll be at it again Wednesday night at the Cellar Lounge in Las Vegas.

Recording at CSN

On Friday I had a recording session at the College of Southern Nevada with Rob and J.P. of Ever Since My Breakdown. Those guys are my pals. As a bonus, being around all those great mics is like visiting a German trade show.
