The Captain’s Log Project is a wonderful radio program on KXCI, Tucson. It explores listeners’ reflections on life in the age of COVID-19. The show’s producer, Amy A., invites her audience to check in with brief transmissions describing what they are doing, how they’re feeling, and what they’re eating. I’ve loved the concept from the very start. This is what public radio is all about.
In April I wrote and read a short essay for CLP volume 2. Last week Amy wrote to ask if I’d like to check in with an update. That aired last night on volume 11, which is available for streaming here.
I’d like to thank Amy A. for her wonderful work on the program—and for thinking of me.
